The B&B

Chambres du Pont de la Legende is a sprawling manor house with a huge main terrace complete with possibly the Worlds most picturesque Bouledrome. There is a large grassed area on the riverfront for sunbathing and picnics accessed through the impressive stone archway below doubling up as the foundations of the property and a passage way for the Camino de Santiago. On the Southern side there is large terraced gardens with fresh vegetables growing and a smaller grassed area with tables to offer guests an alternative and equally dazzling viewpoint. The entrance to the property is through imposing wooden doors opening into a long hallway with a vast salon for dining and lounging and  to the left a more intimate space to enjoy a tea and read a book.


The town


Sauveterre de Bearn is an ideal destination to take advantage of the Bearn and Basque Regions with its enviable proximity to the sea and the mountains. Favorite pastimes include fly-fishing, canoeing, hiking, golfing and most notably cycling of which there are unparalleled routes to savor the regions wonders. Equally for less strenuous endeavors fresh markets can be found in the town itself twice a week or any day of the week nearby offering the finest and freshest produce and interesting arts and crafts or a visit to the nearby thermal baths.
